I’ve been rocking the CLE STMR plates on my car for nearly two years now. Now the BMV has decided that they are “inappropriate” and has issued an “immediate recall” of the plates.
If you can get Cleveland Steamer out of CLE STMR, good for you. If you know a Cleveland Steamer is the act of taking a shit on someone’s chest then you have no reason to be offended by that on a license plate. In fact it has brought joy to many people, like the guy that nearly got in a wreck because he was trying to take a picture of the plate with his camera phone while driving…classic.
Anyways, this is its farewell tour. We made a good run at it. Goodbye Steamer!

Trying no to be as commercial as possible sometimes you just see something that gives you the chills. Just watching this trailer for an IMAX mountain climbing flick really shows how small humans are compared to the great landscape that surrounds us. To go up has been one of the grandest challenges since we have walked this Earth. Even though the depths of the ocean make the mountain tops minuscule it has always been the goal to get to the highest mountain peaks. Can’t wait to see this gnar on the big screen!!

The record quarter pipe vert record falls to Simon Dupont rocking skis. This record was previously held by snowboarder Terje Haakonsen. Simon aired out of the pipe 35 feet over the lip of the giant quarter pipe. It was estimated that Simon was amped up to 55 mph to hit that height. To take the gnar to the next level, Simon went ahead and corked out a 900 during the record jump. gnar.
